Opaque Map Mode is the default map mode for the app. This mode offers the clearest view of the contemporary map, allowing current residents of the area to navigate to places of importance to them.

In our app, the contemporary map is slid to the right to reveal the fixed ancient map below. Map modes are changed by pressing the map mode button at the bottom right center of the map view in the app.
